A Bus Duct Panel (or Busway Panel) is a compact, metal-enclosed system using copper or aluminium bars (busbars) inside a grounded duct to efficiently transmit high electrical currents as an alternative to heavy power cables — ideal for industrial, commercial, and large building power distribution, with easy installation, modularity, scalability, and safety. Modular sections connect via bolted or plug-in joints for easy assembly and future expansion; conductors are insulated (Mylar, epoxy resin) within a grounded metal enclosure. Handles large currents (2000A+) with low voltage drop and minimal heat, and is compact compared to bulky cable systems. Applications: power distribution from transformers to switchgear, connecting generators to main panels, powering machinery in industrial plants, and vertical power risers in high-rise buildings. Available as air-insulated, sandwich, or segregated/isolated-phase types.
