It monitors the mains, starts the generator, transfers the load, and safely shuts down the generator after a cooling period. Key functions: continuous mains monitoring; automatic start/stop of the generator with a set cooling-down period; load transfer between mains and generator; safety interlocks preventing simultaneous connection of both sources.
